The Company


The Flow Research Collective is a rapidly growing peak performance research and training organization focused on the neuroscience of flow states.

We train business leaders to improve their performance by accessing flow more consistently. Our Executive Director is New York Times bestselling author Steven Kotler.

Steven’s work on flow and peak performance has been featured everywhere from Harvard Business Review to Time Magazine and Forbes.

You may have seen Steven on The Joe Rogan Experience or come across one of his many bestselling books, like Stealing Fire, BOLD, ABUNDANCE & The Rise of Superman.



The Role

The Flow Research Collective is looking for a Hiring Manager, who will manage the entire hiring process to land us world-class talent.

This person is obsessed with finding the best people in the world for any position, creating an incredible experience for them, and landing those people to create an incredible team. They know how to design, run, and scale hiring processes which don't just follow the standard inbound methods - they've run outreach processes to the best in the world... and been massively successful.

Everything they do is through the lens of landing the best people in the world. They are focused on execution of sytems, but only the systems which lead to the best results. Because of that, they've found and landed some of the best talent in the world.

This person is also a people person, attuned to the emotional hiring process that candidates go through, and understands the nuances of communication that lead to an inviting and exciting experience for candidates. They write beautiful emails and are used to evaluating candidates in introductory stages.

Overall, the Hiring Manager is responsible for the quality of teammates that we bring to FRC, and as a result, our entire trajectory lies on their shoulders. They don't take that lightly, but they relish the challenge of running and building the systems, finding the best people in the world, and bringing them through the process to completion.

Pay

Very competitive hourly rate per session, plus significant performance based incentives.

What Kind Of Qualifications Do You Need? 

  • You are passionate about hiring, peak performance, and dramatically improving people's lives
  • You have 3+ years as a successful Hiring Manager or equivalent position
  • You have hired world-class talent - both at the executive level and at manager/IC level
  • You have successfully built, run, and managed talent pipelines
  • You have created and run successful outreach processes
  • You have hand-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • You are familiar with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)
  • You have a stellar record of managing to outcomes and consistently outperforming with high levels of responsibility
  • Your communication and project management skills are top notch

Our CEO, Rian Doris, is based in New York.  Our Director of Operations, Melissa, splits her time between Europe and North America.
